Asma Of Libya

Asma, you are so beautiful.
Tall, majestic and curvy woman with golden brown skin and lovely eyes.
The fearless and gorgeous Hijabi.
A woman whose eyes haunt my thoughts.

Your smile makes my heart soar,
Even on days when the world treats me poorly,
For I am one of the Sons of Africa living in Canada.

The way you smile at me,
The way you gaze at the world,
The way you treat others, friend and stranger alike,
You are so precious,
beautiful daughter of Libya.

If you were mine,
I would hold you tight,
And thank Allah daily
To have you in my arms.

But you are not mine.
You are married to another.
I am a good Muslim,
And would never break up a happy home.

You continue to haunt my dreams,
I wish you the very best,
And remember you fondly,
Don’t forget me.

Maybe in the next life,
We can be together.
Perhaps.
Insha’Allah.
