Mythopoetic Man

He comes from far away.
He has a lot to bear.
Life has not been kind to him.

He is lost.
He is alone.
Yet he is unafraid.
He's got purpose.
He's got determination.

He sees what's wrong in
our society and draws from
within the strength
to help others and
right the wrongs.

He's not an athlete.
He's not famous.
He's not popular.
He's not wealthy.
He looks no different
from the ordinary man.

Yet when you are lost and
alone, only he stands between
you and the darkness.

He stares at the darkness
all the time. It draws him
in. He resists. He despairs.
He regains purpose, strength
and vision. He overcomes.
Hope has set him free.

If you are a man who is wronged
by society. Abused by your lady
friend, taken away from your
children, falsely accused and
whatnot, he comes for you.

Helping you is his purpose.
There are a few Men's Rights
Activists out there. Men who
see what brings down other men.

False allegations. Wrongful imprisonment.
Being kept away from your children. Getting
abused by vindictive females and a legal system
set up against all males.

Theirs is not a popular cause. Few know of it.
They fight for you, your father, brother and
son, nephew and cousin. All men. Yet no one
knows about them. They are MRAs. He's the
best among them.

The end.
