Stolen Moments

My heart jumps at the touch
Your hand and mine
Skin on skin
Just a brush
A secret meeting in the crowd

I long for you while you stand next to me
Smiling
Frowning
Talking
Business as usual
And I know you long for me
And the one short glance tells me more than a thousand worde could ever

And all we have are those stolen moments
When you pull me aside
To some dark corner, and
We kiss
We pant, we touch, we fumble with buttons so urgently, so quickly that
It only nourishes the fire in me
Hot, hard kisses, your breath warm on my cheek and
Your hands lifting me, bruising me in your haste

Comfort
Short and bittersweet comfort
Lasting just seconds
Before we have to move on
Departing lovers
And the longing for you begins once again
