My tooth ached from eating too much candy and cake,
For my sake asked the dentist if he could take,
An ex-ray for drilling and porcelain filling,
For a fee, willingly, he accommodated me.

I opened wide so he could examine inside.
The pain of the bad tooth was driving me insane,
Don’t know which is worse toothache pain or Novocain.

Thanking him for the filling, he gave his billing,
Instead of a toothache, I have a bad headache,
It’s not that he’s expensive, I’m just sensitive,
Toothaches aren’t worth eating all that candy and cake.
