The Workout

The Workout

Barbells and dumbbells, free weights or machine,
Don’t know which is better to make my body lean.
At the gym five days a week and don’t see a change,
Friends and relatives think I’m strangely deranged.

Bench press and squat, dead lift and upright row,
As bodybuilding diets and weightlifting exercises go,
Push and pull, heavy presses, how am I to know
The best routine for me to make my muscles grow?

Arnold and Columbo, Haney and Ferrigno,
People say steroids are the way to go.
For me, the best way is no drugs; keep my body clean.
All I want is to make my body lean.

When I go to the gym there are girls in tight dresses,
With firm behinds, round breasts, and long tresses.
Their perfect bodies make me crazy. I can’t workout.
Making time talking, I’m lazy. You know what about.

I might as well stay home. I can’t workout any more.
I have too many girlfriends, last count, four.
Too bad I’ve become sex crazed and obscene,
When all I wanted was to make my body lean.
