Sea Wrath

Sea Wrath

Seafaring sailors, staunch, stalwart whalers,
Watch weathered, white waves, wistfully wash,
Sunrise on sunset, on sandy shores sets,
Waterfront warehouses on wooden wharfs.

Seaweed and seashells, on sandy surf swells,
Splashes and surges, spraying its spume.
Doomed! Sea fearing sailors, scared shipwrecked whalers,
Watch weathered, white waves wakefully wash,

Waterfront warehouses on wooden wharfs,
Stand worried women, sad weeping widows,
Woe wicked waters, so wrathfully you wash,
Withering the wreathes against wooden wharfs.
