summer chills

I remember it as summer
Though the cold winds blew by
You had me feel so much better
With your smirks and casual smiles
The paths we strolled
The dead leaves rolled
Until the forest seemed ablaze
With a million flowers gaze
I caught up to you
You led me through
All of lifes worries and sorrows
The joys multiplied
By your smile so divine
I knew i was so into you

My summer has passed by
The sky still shines bright
But I fail to register
The cold in my heart is so sinister
Was it me or was it you?
Why did we let winter rule??
Our bond snapped
I have ended up trapped
Remembering a summer...
That never ever was true...
i have the chills in summer
I blame it on your eyes tender
The moment it ceased to glimmer
And tured on me so bitter
I made empty vows
Im sorry im a human foul
Lust and love and pleasure
I deny myself these treasures..
im tightly wound
In memories of a summer bound..
